Su-Ching started her career in audit in 1996 in Crowe and was exposed to the audits of manufacturing, trading and service based companies. In 2000, Su-Ching spent the year in CIMB Investment Bank where her main focus was Initial Public Offerings.
In 2001, she returned to Crowe which started its Business Advisory division that year and left in 2010 as a Principal. Su-Ching’s main focus were financial due diligence, business valuation and M&A. Amongst her notable assignments were the financial due diligences in relation to the acquisition of AirAsia from DRB Hicom and the global acquisition of EAC Graphics by Heidelberg Drückmaschinen AG.
In 2010, Su-Ching joined a healthcare group as its CFO and was mainly responsible for funding and expansion management. The group ran 13 chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics across Malaysia, a hospital and a surgical theater in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2014, Su-Ching took on the positions in business development and the finance departments in Tradewinds Plantation Berhad. She was also active in the university and scholarship projects of the Albukhary Foundation.
Su-Ching is currently holding the position of an advisor in a venture capital company which also holds the license for Equity Crowd Funding issued by the Securities Commission. At the same time, she is also an advisor to an FMCG company in the e-Commerce space and is also an Independent Non-Executive Director in 2 public listed companies.
Su-Ching holds an honorary position as a member in the Finance Committee in the Incorporated Society of Planters. She is also an active volunteer with the Tzu Chi Foundation in Malaysia. She enjoys martial arts and holds a black belt in Shitoryu Karate.
Su-Ching is an alumni of the Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology. She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
