Dr. Puvanesvaran career began as a Commercial Analyst at IBM Southeast Asia, where he developed a strong foundation in economic analysis. Over the years, he has served as an Econometrician on various research and consulting projects across multiple sectors, including automotive, manufacturing, O&G, telecommunications, and mining. Dr. Puvanesvaran has also acted as a Strategic Advisor to companies undergoing transformation, particularly in the O&G sector.

Dr. Puvanesvaran holds a PhD in Macroeconomics from the University of Malaya, with research focused on the explanatory powers of the earnings function and gender wage inequality. He also earned his Bachelor’s (Hons) and Master’s (Distinction) in Economics from the same institution. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was awarded the Mokhzani Memorial Gold Medal by the Malaysian Economic Association in 2009 for being the best graduate student in Economics at the University of Malaya. Dr. Puvanesvaran’s extensive experience and deep understanding of economic principles have made him a sought-after consultant and advisor in his field.
